MANUFACTURING TURADA®
HARDWOOD SHINGLES

Efficient, cost-effective manufacturing, with sustainability and forest management at the forefront.

We begin the sustainable manufacturing process by only sourcing logs which are over 24" in diameter. This ensures that only mature Wallaba trees are felled. Young Wallaba trees are allowed to remain in the forest to grow, guaranteeing species availability for future generations. Turada® Hardwood Shingles are manufactured by Superior Shingles & Wood Products (SSWP) in Guyana, South America. They are produced from sustainably harvested Wallaba logs. This transparency and direct contact at the source allows us to provide our customers with a clear, traceable path in which their building materials arrived. As well, we follow all national and international regulations regarding sustainable forest management.

MANFUCTURING FACILITY

We work closely with SSWP to ensure that our end products are high quality, able to last for generations. The state-of-the-art facility assures that products meet the highest standards of quality in the industry. SSWP has been in operation since 2001 and has the capacity to produce over 200,000 square feet of shingles per month. All the production is monitored by a North American inspection agency, guaranteeing quality, product uniformity and grade.
